RetrogeneDB is a database of retrocopy annotations in sequenced eukaryotic genomes. It currently stores information about 62 genomes from Ensembl release 73 and we plan to extend it to all genomes in the Ensembl Genomes databases, including metazoans, plants, fungi and protists. RetrogeneDB allows users to search for retrocopies and their parental genes using numerous criteria. For selected organisms retrocopy expression estimation from RNA-Seq studies is provided.
